Amazing! I do the same with the kids clothes. I always have a cotton shopping bag in their room and toss all things in there that are too small or can be donated. Once it’s full I go through it and donate what is too small for both of them or put away what will fit the little brother soon. That way it never piles up and we have no fights over too tight clothes that were favs once 🤣

So true. Having an easy spot for donations turns decluttering into a habit, not a huge event, and that huge event is what holds most of us back from taking action.

Big closet clean outs are daunting. Little by little removing items for donation works better for me too.
