I have memory boxes for each child which includes favourite artwork through school. Now and again I revisit and declutter.
My kids are now 18 and 24 and they love going through these boxes. I also love the frames that you can open like a book and use to present artwork and rotate pieces
I don’t tend to get paper bills anymore as I’ve opted in to receiving these digitally
I've been using a simplified version of David Allen's Getting Things Done for about 20 years. I have a zero tolerance for papers, so I deal with them immediately (whenever possible). I don't even have an in-tray any more - they just go on my desk, and that irritates me, so I deal with them. Of course, it's simpler now that my children have left!
I’m with you, Linda! I don’t love the look of a bunch of papers clipped/hanging behind by desk so this helps me deal with them sooner, or at least stay on top of them! Thanks for sharing.
My daughter is a prolific artist. I have a folder on my phone (yearly) dedicated to her artwork. Every year in November/December I sort through and create a calendar for her to give as a Christmas gift for family and friends. This way, I get rid of the majority of the art work, but keep the special memories.

Our kids are 7 and 9 and also love going through their boxes. It's a favorite rainy weekend activity in our house. Happy to hear it hasn't gotten old!
And we opt into electronic bills whenever possible, too. Every little bit helps!
I currently rent a Post Office Box. I sort the mail at the Post Office, throwing away junk mail so that it does not arrive home.
Love this PO Box perk!

I love this, Lindsay! What a great idea. I might try the same this year!
